The telephone service staff consists of experienced nurses and public health nurses, and the service is also available in Swedish and English.

For Helsinki residents, the service arranges a doctor for home visit if needed in case of a serious psychiatric crisis, as well as for elderly or disabled people, and for those for whom it is otherwise unreasonably difficult to get to a place of treatment – provided that the problem can be treated in a home environment. A nurse will evaluate this based on the information provided over the phone.
